Who we are

Founded by Thomas Hansard, a native Texan and seasoned Viking Age reenactor, Gungnir Goods brings Viking history to life through handmade, authentic pieces. Thomas, a skilled leatherworker, silversmith, and coin minter, has been part of the Texas living history and medieval combat scene for over 2 decades. He also leads the Vikings of Vinland, a nonprofit focused on Viking living history. His fiancée, Elisa Arsenault, a Quebec native, has 6 years of experience as a living history reenactor and previously spent 14 years in the LARP community. She brings her expertise in blacksmithing, Nålbinding, tablet weaving, historical clothing creation, and other crafts. Together, they’ve turned their shared passion for Viking Age living history into a full-time endeavor by partnering to create Gungnir Goods. They travel to various reenactment events and markets, where you can find them showcasing their work alongside other talented artisans in the community. In addition to their own creations, Gungnir Goods networks with and sells items from other makers within the reenactment and historical Viking scene, offering a wide range of high-quality, authentic pieces.
